Built by a physiotherapist who was tired of seeing injuries arrive too late.

WorkWell MSK was built by our founder, a UK musculoskeletal physiotherapist — after too many appointments that started with "I've had this for a few months now."

Why prevention, not just treatment

Most workplace MSK support only shows up once someone is already struggling — often weeks or months after a problem started. By then, the exercise that would have sorted it out in a week isn't enough on its own, and the person's been managing pain at work the whole time without anyone knowing.

WorkWell MSK exists to move that first conversation earlier. Not by replacing clinical judgement with an algorithm, but by making it easy enough to report something small that people actually do it. Alongside the platform, we are building occupational health physiotherapy services, including workstation assessments and return to work support, so the same clinical thinking carries from prevention through to recovery.

Our founder still sees patients directly. WorkWell MSK is built from what actually happens in clinic, not from a product brief written at a distance from it — the same appointments, the same patterns, caught at the point where they're still easy to fix.

Why the triage isn't AI-generated

It would be easy to have an algorithm guess at risk from a symptom description. We chose not to. The questions WorkWell MSK asks, and the rules that decide when something needs a physio rather than a stretch, are written by our founder, a licensed clinician — not inferred by a model with no accountability for getting it wrong.

That's slower to build. It's also the only version we'd be comfortable putting in front of a real employee.

Every escalation rule in the platform is a clinical decision, reviewed and signed off, not a machine-learned guess. Things like numbness, a sudden onset, or pain that's gone on for months are treated as genuine red flags because a clinician decided they should be — not because a pattern in the data suggested it.
